Packing

One of my favorite feelings is knowing that a vacation is in the near horizon.  

Countdown to my Portland, Oregon vacation is on and I'm beyond exciting.  One of my favorite things to do is to plan my outfits.

Normally the "just-in-case" scenarios are the main culprits to my overpacking.  You know the ones: "Just in case we go here...,"    "Just in case I feel like wearing this..."  This method has left me with a heavier than necessary suitcase that gets lugged back and forth from the airport with zero room to bring anything extra back home.  However, this time the challenge is to only pack what I'll wear and wear what I pack.

This means a lot of invested planning in my outfits.  So over the past few nights I've been trying each and every outfit on.  Accessories and all.  And writing every detail of my ensemble down so I don't forget anything.  I mean EVERY DETAIL.  From what type of undergarments will go best, to fashion tape, to safety pins.  Every detail.

I'll keep an update of how the packing goes.
