Concert Outfit

Thrilled that I was able to see Foster the People this summer!

This was my first time going to the Cynthia Woods Pavilion Center in Houston and it did not disappoint!  If moving around, dancing, taking pics with a good background is your thing then I strongly suggest you get general admission on the lawn.

Since the concert was outside and I knew that I had to wear something comfortable, breathable, and stylish.  Let me be the first to tell you that I almost NEVER wear all black.  It's pretty intimidating for me.  But I stepped out of my comfort zone and I think the results were pretty worth it.

My mom bought this blouse for me at the thrift shop for our church back at home.  It's sheer and has tiny rhinestones all over it.  I wore a black bralette underneath instead of a tank so the blouse would remain breathable.  The (faux) leather skirt, boots, and belt are all from Goodwill.  My hat was a gift from my friend Jennise, who was my concert partner for Foster the People (and my photographer for this post!).

I had to break the black up with a pop of color.  I love this hat because the color is versatile through the seasons and will be worn all year long.

Hope you all enjoyed this post!  Be sure to follow my instagram page @CynthiaEdee for more updates and instastories!
