Julie Hagerty

Let's all take a moment to appreciate the beauty, style, and hair of Julie Hagerty in 1980's Airplane!  

I love everything about her look in this scene.  The thick voluminous hair, high waisted pants with a classic white button up, natural make up, it's perfect!  I recently bought a pair of high waisted palazzo pants (I never knew the name of that style of pant) from Kohl's for about $20 in navy blue which I wear almost every other day.  They are so comfy yet stylish and I'm all about that life.  I've always paired them with tanks and sleeveless blouses and I was a little saddened thinking that once summer was over I'd have to hang them in my closet and never wear them again until the next year.  Seeing this look on her let's me know that my beloved palazzo's can easily transfer into my fall wardrobe.  I love items that can be used within different seasons; it makes me feel like a savvy shopper. ;))

And that's how my inspiration/styling ideas are found.  I was mindlessly surfing the web watching reruns of The Office on Netflix with my husband and somehow stumbled upon these pictures.  When I see something I like I enjoy sharing it with others so I hope y'all enjoyed this!
