Who doesn't love taking a hammer to a rock and finding a sparkly surprise inside? I know that I enjoyed smashing my first geode rock today. I found this one at my local art and science museum in Mcallen, TX.
Crystals, essential oils, chakras, and holistic lifestyles are definitely on trend right now and thank goodness. I'm not one to say that I lead a 100% holistic life, I don't even live a 50% one, but since a young age I liked looking at crystals and having them around me. Of course, the main reason for that attraction was the beauty and sparkles but I've begun to educate myself more on these pretty little rocks.
So yes, they're nice to look at. They make great pieces for home and office decor. BUT! There are other remarkably cool things about geode rocks! Like they:
- promote well-being
- assist with better moods
- balance energy
- help with meditation
- reduce anxiety
Pretty cool, right?! So next time you're wondering what to do, visit a museum's gift shop, purchase a geode rock if they have them, crack it open, welcome good vibes.
