Today was the official kick-off at Hemisphere Park and I had to go! Food, fun, drinks, music, pictures, free stuff, it was all there! And a huge part of Fiesta is the Fiesta Fashion! Seriously, there are blogs, videos, segments on the local news stations dedicated to Fiesta Fashion. I love to be festive and look for any excuse to dress up and I had the perfect outfit for Fiesta!
Here's a flat lay of most of my outfit minus the accessories. My skirt is from a Texas City Thrift Store and was only $5! When I saw it I knew I had to have it. A few of my friends gave me the side-eye when they saw I purchased it but I kept telling them, "It'll be perfect for when Fiesta comes around!" and I'm glad I bought it.
The black crop top is from Charlotte Russe and has been in my closet for over a year now. It's one of those that hangs out in my closet waiting for the right moment to be worn. It was pretty inexpensive (I think it was $6) and it's good to have a basic black crop top, especially since so many of my bottoms are high waisted.
The shoes are from a local pop-up called Fiesta Feet. If you haven't heard of them check out their page HERE and check out their story and the different styles of huaraches they have for sale! Mine came in today which was perfect timing because they were comfortable and went perfectly with my outfit!
And I made my Fiesta sash! I had been looking for one and they were over $40 in store and online so the crafty side of me came out and I decided to make my own. I'm quite pleased with how it came out and loved that it was original and my own creation.
Not photoed in my flat lay is my flower crown and my earrings. My flower crown is from Target and my earrings are from the Fiesta Store.
Here's a picture of my whole outfit:
I'm trying to get more comfortable video taping myself on Snapchat and Instagram so check out my vids while they're still up!
