Turtlenecks

My obsession lately has been turtlenecks.  I was a little hesitant towards them at first because I could only recall the uncomfortable ones I'd wear as a tween or the unattractive ones older ladies would wear at Bingo however retailers have stepped up their turtleneck game!

I have a pretty healthy collection of mini skirts hanging in my closet and the easiest way to wear them all year round is to pair them with tights and boots.  Only thing is that with South Texas winters tights are usually comfortable in the morning or evening but itchy and hot during midday.

To balance out the amount of skin showing in a mini you could cover your arms and neck with the turtle neck and wear knee high or over-the-knee boots.  That way only a minimum amount of skin is peeking through on your legs and you're still warm yet cool.

I just ordered two turtleneck tops and a mock turtleneck dress from forever21.com and I can't wait till they come in.  Below are some photos of my fashion inspirations:
